  Divorce is similar to the death of someone close. Often times to get through it, you have to mourn the loss of the old relationship, then reflect, and learn to evolve during one of life’s most difficult experiences. 

  While the partner who requests the divorce begins the grief process early, the other partner (the respondent) will likely have feelings of abandonment i and grief. If the respondent did not anticipate the divorce, he/she will likely experience the shock that coincides with. 

  Divorce is an emotionally draining experience. To ensure that you not only survive, but thrive, it’s best to keep moving forward and learn to let things go. 

  Remember,  life is precious and short. This course is designed to recognize our humanity and convert “the best we can” to “the best.”

Meditation

 Meditation is a welcomed place of relaxation and allows you to observe yourself and your emotions from a rational point of view. It teaches your mind to see reality without distraction or bias and while investigating your inner thoughts and beliefs. Therefore, we’ve included a Mediation Course that accompanies the Divorce Makeover Course of all of our participants. 

Journaling

 Journaling is another key component of a successful mindset during divorce. By keeping a collection of your observations and/or feelings in a journal, the benefits can be immense. 

These benefits include:

  • Increasing your creativity
  • Developing your self-awareness
  • Recognizing your unique personality,
  • Enhancing your ability to set priorities
  • Seeing past incidents more clearly

About Christine

  Hello! Thank you for your interest in Divorce Transformations. I am a speech language pathologist and certified yoga instructor.  Like many of our clients, I have been through a high conflict divorce. After 4 years of no guidance of how to deal with the conflict and its ramifications, I was instructed by my mediator to take the High Conflict training course with Brook Olsen. His course helped me learn how to disengage and taught me useful methods on how to deal with high conflict.


I am now a certified High Conflict instructor through the High Conflict Diversion Program. With this training and my own healing, I have developed a process of how to navigate high conflict in a healthy way for myself and others.
